Customer Review: For me, Pulitzer Prize Winners are hit or miss. Oscar Wao is a bullseye. I loved everything about it. I read it in two days because I could not put it down. After almost a month, the story still lingers with me and I think about it every day and wish that every book I read bolled me over like... more info
Customer Review: This is probably the best book I have read since The Devil in the White City. I couldn't put it down and it has all the elements I look for in a good book! Mikhael Bloomvist (excuse me if I misspell any names because they are all Swedish) is in a desperate spot and then asked by a wealthy elderly... more info
Customer Review: This was the first of Bill O'Reilly's books I have read. I really thought it was a good story, although I couldn't relate to most of the stories because I am a lot younger than the baby boomer generation. This being said, I am extremely disappointed with his latest release, "Just After Sunset". This mostly depressing tome of work deals with... more info
Customer Review: I bought the paper book and got halfway through it before buying the audio version -- after realizing I have more time to drive than to read. This is an excellent, concise and eminently sensible book about how the food scientists and food industry and even the government have sacrificed our natural... more info
Customer Review: This is an amazing eye opener of a book on human behavior and how our brains function in thought. In a blink of an eye, decisions can be made and appear to be the result of a well thought out and educated process.
The author presents various illustrations of these instantaneous decisions; the... more info
